Photography Guidlines

Follow these guidelines for preparing your car for that picture perfect moment.

  1. A clean car is a must and should include dressing tires and be spot free.
  2. An open outdoor parking lot is the ideal setting that is void of trees, buildings, street lights etc. that can cause reflections on your vehicle. The ideal surface is a light color. Avoid parking the car in grass if at all possible. The picture should include only the car; no persons by the car or in the car.
  3. Lighting can be critical to achieving an accurate depiction of your car's true color and features so Tip #3 should really be Tip #1. The tip is to shoot outdoors during what photographers often refer to as "sweet light". The magical period is the hour or so right after sunrise and right before sunset. When the sun is low to the horizon, its rays have to pass through much more atmosphere than during the middle of the day, therefore, the result is a softer, warmer light.
